Despite occurring in Season 3, it acts as "setup" for Movie 1.

Izuku and All Might appear in a special pre-show screening. Izuku states that Class 1-A is supposed to be in the middle of their licensing exam. All Might says to forget that for now because they have a special story about saving the world with love.

In July, Nana Shimura pushes away her young pupil and asks Gran Torino to take care of him. All For One looms over her, looking to put an end to her last stand with the full extent of his power. Gran Torino flies away with Toshinori as the young man cries out for his master. Nana points at him and departs some final words of encouragement, before All For One thanks her for the "entertainment", ending her in a flash of light that completely decimates the island.

Everyone Is Someone’s Hero
(Two Heroes - Yoco)

David and Melissa Shield are at the hospital where they are informed that the latter is Quirkless. Knowing her daughter's condition, David tries to cheer her up by arguing that even though he has a Quirk, all he can do is bend his fingers a little more than a normal person, so it's nothing great. Melissa tells her father that it's okay, and thanks him.

Deku & Bakugo Rising Part 1 & 2

Izuku is at the Tatooin Shopping District, enthusiastically reading a hero magazine that contains an interview with All Might and a special on the most recently debuted Heroes. Suddenly, he comes across Katsuki and his two friends.

The long fingered friend steals Izuku's magazine and makes fun of him for looking at the All Might article and still dreaming of becoming a hero despite being Quirkless, making him feel bad. Katsuki takes the magazine and disparagingly throws it back to Izuku with a comment over his shoulder, saying that dreaming is the only thing a useless Quirkless like him can do.

Hawks: Soothe
(World Heroes’ Mission - Hori)

Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto are at the airport waiting for their plane to head overseas for their upcoming mission in Otheon. A nervous Izuku anxiously writes "person" on his hand over and over to relieve his stress, with Shoto reminding him that he just needs to remember his English, as well as telling him he has to eat the "person" on his hand for it to take effect. The two notice Katsuki exploding into his hand and eating it, figuring that he is also nervous too, which he barks back at them for, because he wants to concentrate so he can perform at his best.

Endeavor’s Mission
(World Heroes’ Mission - Yoco)

During their Work-Study at the Endeavor Agency, Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto are brought by Endeavor to a facility to take part in a test. They learn from the men in black accompanying him that they work for the World Heroes Association, and they are here to see if they are fit to join an overseas mission. Endeavor tells them they must land one attack on him in three minutes, or else they'll be staying home.
